You can increase the time limit from the smtp server properties.

Subject: [exchangelist] Life of email!

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hi everybody,

I have a very serious problem if what I think is correct. Am I correct
in saying that email has a total life span of 72 hours before it will be
dropped? My problem is that we have a branch office moving to another
building and the servers has been disconnected yesterday and it will be
up only on thursday. They could be still in the time limit or could just
miss it.

Do you know of any way to pause or hold them at the HO exchange 5.5
server untill the branch is up. It is just sitting in the que for now.

Any help would be very welcome

Jaen
