Hmm... I see what you're saying. I was thinking the data was kept in the
directory, but it may just be in the metabase.

To be honest, it's been so long since I last dealt with this that I'm a bit
rusty. IIRC, you had to set the locale on the server to support the
languages you wanted via ESM (see the help file for how this is done)for the
views etc to be correct. As for NDR's and system messages, it was up to the
client to translate the NDR upon receipt. In otherwords, the message is sent
in UTF-7 or 8 and is then translated by the client based on the localization
settings of the client.

Like I said though, I'm very rusty on that. I remember the issue coming up,
but a little fuzzy on what the resolution was. I'll try to recall if there
was something specific that you as the admin needed to do..

Al,

That looks like it is it, except for that entry is currently set to 0 (not
the languageID of the NDR's). So, i'm assuming that means it pulls from
some type of default on the server OS or on the Exchange OS. Any ideas
about where that is?

Thanks,
C

I'm in a multi-language Exchange Org. How/Where is the language of
NDR's
        contolled?

        Thanks in advance,
        C
