From home and internally they use the same URL of
https://mail.company.com/exchange. It was not my idea for the users to use the
same link but that's what it is. It's what they were using with 5.5 OWA and
they dont want to change it.

For the configuration it's SSL bridging and FBA via ISA. The cert is verisign
and is on both the ISA listener and the OWA site. The publishing rule is set
to publish internally to mail.company.com and I changed the local host file to
point mail.company.com to IP address of OWA.

Also one final note. The OWA server's are NLB and ISA is pointing at the NLB
IP address.

Looks like ISA not configured properly. From internal, user by pass ISA. Please
provide more information to the list
1. URL used from external (home )
2. URL used internally
3. How was the ISA configured (e.g. bridging SSL)

We just deployed ISA 2004 to publish OWA 2003. We are seeing something
strange with authentication. For users that are trying the new OWA for the
first time at home they are getting a 404 error when they try to log in. But
if they have logged into the new OWA site from internally first they are not
receiving the error. We recently replaced our 5.5 front end server with a new
2003 server. All the back end is 2003 no service packs.

        Has anyone seen this before?

        Thanks,

        Alex
