Hi You can?t just jump in and do a reinstall of exchange if you don?t properly remove the existing one from active directory. That is why /disasterrecovery and /removeorg switch are made for so you can force to active directory a clean up or similar installation. If you want to remove the exchange from AD, better follow this article http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Remove-Exchange-server-entire-Exchange-o rganization.html Also this is a good one http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;822945&Product=exch2 003 Make sure you back up you AD system state and even if it is possible an image from domain controllers and exchange box so in worst case you can get back where you have been. Symantec ghost or acronis true image would be nice ________________________________________ From: soso bobo [mailto:soso20052006_4@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Sunday, February 13, 2005 1:23 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Install Exchange in Disaster Recovery Mode & Normal Exchange http://www.MSExchange.org/ Dear All, i have here one question. if i took Full Backup from Exchange information Store & i found that the exchange was corrupted , & i have full Backup from it.
