Subject: [exchangelist] Information Store error

http://www.MSExchange.org/

I have an issue with an exchange server that is part of a SBS2000 box.
When I start the machine, everything seems to be ok, but then the
information store doesn't start. It just says "starting" in the services
console. When I try to mount the stores in system manager it won't start
(says that the "microsoft exchange information store is busy").

I am getting a message id 8197 as the event id, and the text of that error
id is "Error initializing session for virtual machine "HOSTNAME", Make
sure that Exchange Information Store is running.

I am not getting any other errors in the event log. So it would seem that
this is relevant. There are no error messages about any db corruption.
Does anyone have an idea on this? I would appreciate any help or ideas on
it.
