Sounds more like there is a 3rd party security program scanning this
stuff...rather than IMF being the culprit.

I am confused, IMF does not have an auto message feature, and only checks
incoming mail for spam, so what exactly is the problem with IMF?

What setting have you got configured on IMF (Gateway and Store)?

I use to have no problem at all until I started to get auto messages from the
mailing lists telling me a number of messages have bounced, and that I need to
unhold my account. Nothing changed unless one of the new patches MS released in
the meantime changed something, after that I couldn't get it to work without
receiving ExchangeList and ISAList for the most part messages in my Junk E-Mail
folder.

Sounds like a conf issue, we use IMF here at Microsoft and I have no problem
getting mail from ExchangeList etc.

No matter what I do emails to ExchangeList, ISAList, and SBSList are bouncing,
not to mention some emails that I receive from people also are being rejected
by IMF. I have tried adjusting the levels to let fewer positive hits in but
they still bounce, this wasn't happening almost a month ago.
