Carl I'd be interested to know which other lists you may have seen this problem highlighted, 'cos I can't see anything specific by Googling. I have added IP address as you suggested and it's made no difference. I ascertain that these notification messages are assigned a SCL of 8. I can send messages from the administrator user from OE6 within the server with absolutely no problem and IMF does not catch it. Aaaaaaaaarrgghhhh. I cannot see why these notifications are being caught by IMF at all. I guess I'll keep looking. Presumably if it's getting widespread notice there will be a fix soon. Have you tried adding the IP of the machine that generates the message to the Perimeter IP and Internal IP list (Message delivery General tab)? In an attempt to tighten clients spam up I've implemented IMF which is working very well. However I have found it is blocking Backup Exec SMTP notifications being sent out. Can someone enlighten me how to get over this problem ? I'm somewhat confused due to the fact I'm sending and receiving on the same box (SBS 2003).
