Agreed! Andrew what was the problem with Spamassassin? Although its free its probably the best spam catcher that ive seen and i know many large businesses who have incorporated one into their windows networks. I think IMF is a fine product for a free product. But the keyword is free. I would suspect that the nature of your business has legit email being tagged as spam frequently. If I was with a company that truly lived and died on email and serious money could be lost, I would be looking in to a very full featured 3rd party product. -----Original Message----- From: exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Andrew English Sent: Sunday, May 14, 2006 6:39 PM To: exchangelist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ExchangeList] Re: IMF SCL Rating question http://www.msexchange.org ------------------------------------------------------- This company I am at was using Linux and SpamAssassin to filter their spam along with a list of about 30 or two IP addresses most of which are ranged IPs. The company lives for email. They are a dealer 2 dealer auction house that is all email based, sellers send emails via their phones to our server with their bidding prices which are the plucked off Exchange and put onto the auction site in real-time. I have ported the SMTP blocked server list into IMF, my concern is the rest of the emails that come in and trying to stop emails that are to end up on the auction from being falsely identified as spam.
