Easiest thing to do would be to make a custom recipient in your Exchange
server. The custom recipient can be an outside address and will reside on
the global address list. Setup the rule to forward to the custom recipient
and that should solve the problem.

Subject: [exchangelist] I cannot automatically forward mails to external
addresses using rule

http://www.MSExchange.org/

I created a rule to forward mails to my hotmail. I didn't specify any
condition, so that it should forward all new messages. I works if I use an
internal address to forward. But it is not working for external addresses.
Our mail server is Exchange 2000 and client is Outlook 2000. Please help me
to solve this problem.
