Use an external dns server.

Here is an example:

C:\Documents and Settings\jmedeiros>nslookup
Default Server: plsprodc101.corp.prbz.net
Address: 10.62.4.30

> server 209.128.78.50
Default Server: 209-128-78-050.bayarea.net
Address: 209.128.78.50

> set type=mx
> probusiness.com
Server: 209-128-78-050.bayarea.net
Address: 209.128.78.50

DNS request timed out.
    timeout was 2 seconds.
probusiness.com MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = mail1.probusiness.com
probusiness.com MX preference = 20, mail exchanger = mail2.probusiness.com
probusiness.com nameserver = ns1.probusiness.com
probusiness.com nameserver = ns2.probusiness.com
mail1.probusiness.com internet address = 12.40.212.81
mail2.probusiness.com internet address = 12.40.212.80
ns1.probusiness.com internet address = 12.40.212.69
ns2.probusiness.com internet address = 12.144.227.106

Feel free to use the DNS server I built for the NT Engineering association back
in 2000.
The IP is 209.128.78.50.
