If this is an XP computer, you have the UPN option. Select the domain in
the drop down box, then click the Options button to hide the domain.
Then just enter the UPN to login user@xxxxxxxxxxx

Sorry to be so bothersome but I moved the machine to the ou then
rebooted the machine and still only have the domain option or the
computer option to log into.

Yes... just use ADU&C to move the computer object.
Joining the computer to the domain using the UPN suffix will not work. A
UPN suffix is not "real", it's just an alias.

I'm trying to make it a member of the domain. I would be more specific
but I don't know the difference between joining and moving. I think I'm
attempting to join and now that I think about it I should move the
computer into the OU.
I'm new to exchange so I apologize for my inability to answer your
question more directly.

Are you moving the computer or trying to join it to the domain using the

I used the shared hostin with exchange 2003 (a very good article) and
now I'm attempting to add a machine to the ou with the suffix. I have
