I'm willing to guess it's that you're linking to a graphic on a website
instead of having it embedded.

Yeah but then it does not attract as many visits to our Web sites.

Other HTML emails go through like a charm with an SCL of only 5.

Try using plain text and no images.

Subject: [exchangelist] How can I see why my newsletter is tagged as
spam by IMF?

It seems that many of my opt-in newsletter recipients are not receiving
the newsletter my company publishes.

I did not receive it myself, and realized the Intelligent Mail Filter
(IMF) had given it an SCL of 7 (95.56%).

The email is in HTML and uses embedded CSS and one photo hosted on our
Web site.

It is opt-in only, with an opt-out link and also carries all the
information required by the CAN-SPAM act (including a link to the text
of the law).

I would like to know how I can find out why my newsletter is now
categorized as spam. It does not seem to matter what account I use to
send the email either...

Thanks for helping!
