Chris,

I think that will beat out my 800 MHz box running 512 MB ram! I have
approximately 200 users on that server with about 20 to 25 GB of storage
space. It runs fine...

Subject: [exchangelist] How Much is too Much RAM?

How much is too much memory for an Exchange 2000 server?

-PowerEdge 2650; Dual 2.8GHz; 6GB RAM
-The server will run Windows 2000 Advanced Server with Exchange 2000
Enterprise Edition. -Approximately 50 users -Approximately 10GB of DB
Storage

My thoughts are that this is a "waste" of memory in the machine. Is there
any documentation that will support the notion that Exchange will not use
all of the memory, even with the /3GB switch? How much is enough?

Thanks
Chris
