Not exactly sure what you mean by takes a copy and restores to location
of your choosing. You mean as a flat file? Recovery storage groups is a
neat feature for Exchange 2003, allows you to restore to a temp
production Exchange server.

Subject: [ExchangeList] "Hot" backup util for Ex2K3
Hi there...
When I was running exch 5.5 and then exch 2000, I had a nifty little
exchange util front retrospect that would do a hot backup of my
information store and copy the file onto a location of my choosing.
This was a speedy way to do mailbox recoveries from time to time and
added a layer of redundancy to my backups... Does anything like this
exist for Exchance 2003?
Thank you
