I know nothing about them, but Fortiva claims "Managed Email Archiving".

Subject: [ExchangeList] Hosted archiving?
I have a client that is interested in pursuing an archiving solution for
space considerations, convenience and some compliance issues. Are there
such things available as hosted archiving without having the mailbox
hosted?
Thanks
