Hiding a distribution list

Hi all,
    Ok, here goes.  I have migrated/imported a distribution list from
cc:Mail into the GAL on a E2k  SP2 box.  The client wants to have only
valid dist list members view the list from the GAL.   I was thinking
that there may be an ACL that would allow a solution.  Any suggestions?
