this is the message I'm getting :
Unable to logon to the server using Secure Password Authentication. Account: 
'email.psu.edu', Server: 'email.psu.edu', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: 
'-ERR Unknown command: "auth".', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 
0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18
 
I have their server a incoming and mine as outgoing , is this correct?

What kind of error is she getting?

 

Most likely, SMTP server requires Authentication is not checked on the client.

Hi Guys

 

I need help on setting up pop3 for external email , I have this user who wants 
to access her email from an outside company (university). I tried setting up 
pop3 , she can recieve but can't send.

 

Can you help me with the settings , which one should be my incoming server and 
my out going server. I think maybe I mixing up the ip addresses .

 

Is this safe? which is the best option to do this?
