Just a guess, how is the Outlook Express configured?
Is it possible the outgoing smtp point to another smtp
server other than Exchange, while incoming point to
Exchange.
Then for Exchange 5.5 is it possible the IMS set the max size
for delivery to a very low value? That will explain why
Outlook Express can send attachment while Outlook cannot.
I can be wrong, just guessing.
