Am no expat on the matter you mention, however, I had somewhat related problem where users connecting to our server via the internet were unable to send email destined to external domains eg Yahoo. However, users SMTPing via secure SMTP port settings (we also use certificates) in their clients OE or Outlook were successful. Investigations identified the Authentication settings in Default SMTP virtual server required TLS encryption if using Basic Authentication. Clearing this check box got everything on the right track. You have to go to the SPAM organizations and probe to them that you fix the problem and you were not intended to do the spam. Then they will delete you from that list. Try searching for spam on the web and you will see a lot of sites that are members of that org. Usually most mailclients only sen logon credentials to the mailbox, and not the smtpserver, even if they are onm the same machine. So, like in Outlook where you specify logon details separately for 'outgoing mailserver, you need the same in the Netscape client. If you can't find such a setting I don't think it's gonna work...
