Lorie, It is advisable to have multiple GCs in an AD environment for fault tolerance. GC is not an FSMO role. Hence you may have multiple GCs without any problem. It is a very good fault tolerant approach for the AD applications such as Exchange 2000 that needs to talk to a GC constantly. We have been having problems with the GC on our Domain Controller and are thinking of making another server a GC also. Do you see any problems with this? Thanks in Advance!
