Check your organization and site names in the registry and make sure they
are what you think they should be. Also you might try removing and
reinstalling the Internet Message Connector. We had problems in both those
areas after our Exchange 5.5 server crashed and was rebuilt.

Yes, Organization and site name are exactly the same. I also made sure that
the database paths and the log paths are also the same. Thanks.

        Hello there.

Just checking: Are The organization name, site name, server name all
exactly the same the previous server? If not, reinstall it.

If yes, you must run isinteg -patch againt your database, assuming
you made a off line restore.

Check that and tell us if that worked out.

        Regards

Hello Everyone,

I am running an Exchange 5.5 SP4 server and just had to rebuild it. After
installing and serice packing Exchange exactly the way it was, I restored
the information store and directory from tape. Now I cannot get the
services to start. Are their additional steps to getting the server up and
running? Thanks.

Jerry
