For Outlook 2003:

Tools -> Options -> Calendar Options -> Free/Busy Options

In ESM:

Open "Folders". Right click on "public folders" and select "View System
Folders". Expand "public folders" and then expand "SCHEDULE+ FREE BUSY".
Right-click on the folder beneath it and select Properties. Click on the
Replication tab. Change the "Public Folder Replication Interval".

note that you'll need to make that change on all servers hosting the
replicas. Doesn't do much good if they all don't replicate together.

I'd say both, I have to replicas for my free/busy in to locations. I'd
also like the client info to get updated quicker as well.

http://www.MSExchange.org/

are you referring to server-to-server replication?

or client-to-server replication?

Regardless, I believe the answer to both is "yes".

Is there anyway to change the free/busy replication schedule from eh
default with in Exchange 2003?

Thanks
