Actually creating the contact in Active Directory, under the general tab about
¾ of the way down is where you put in their e-mail address (the one you want it
to forward to).

We are on exch 2k, not sure how this works with exch 2k3.

Thanks

Larry

I've always created a contact. Then set up the contact's outside mail inside
the contact information, then forwarded to the contact that I've created.

Subject: Forwarding Emails

Hi,

What's the best method for forwarding emails to an outside source on Exchange?

I read some where that I should create an new account, adding the persons
external email and making it the default, then forwarding the email to that new
account will send the email to their external account??? If this is the case am
I leaving something out as I have done this yet nothing gets sent to them.

Regards,

Andrew
