Ok, that's kinda what I thought. But I was also hoping for someone to
tell me that "it adds the exchange tabs to AD Users and Computers" in
all computers in my domain. Do I need to install the ADC on every
computer that I want those tabs on? Right now, if I go to my DC, the
exchange tabs are NOT there, but they are there on the Exchange server.
I can, however, see the e-mail addresses column when I look at my list
of users.

Basically those tools grant permissions to an "Exchange Administrators"
group to install/manage/etc everything related to Exchange server. This
allows a large company to have Exchange Admins that are NOT Domain or
Enterprise admins.
For a small company this does nothing for you because you'll probably
just log in as "Administrator" to install or manage the Exchange
organization anyway.
I was curious about this myself (I didn't do it, either) so I run a
search on Microsoft's site. If you aren't heavily using the online
version of Technet then you're really missing out:
