2. A fake domain is one which is non-existent as far as the Internet is


3. You server, unless you edit the Meta Data, will announce itself as
servername.domainname with the domain name being taken from the configured
settings. This means that if you use a fake internal domain name, that is
how the server is going to announce itself.

what do u mean with FAKE DOMAIN..


the domain that i want to change is local domain(Internal domain) not the
External Domain.

i want to change in different server, and then restore the database to the
new  server.
