Paul, are you the Exchange Admin for your company?

I think you need to start doing some research/reading on Exchange
2000....seriously.

Mike.

If this is a new account, is your Recipient Update service set to Always
Run? If not, update it and see if that works.

Mike, I can ping the server, I have the user account in active directory
and that mailbox is created in those names.

Is there no other fault there could be?

I am connecting internally (wonder what you meant though) as in, I have
the server at some desk and the work station at another desk in the same
room.

Paul.

Could be many.

You don't exist on that Server.

You can't connect to the Server.

You have the wrong name for that mailbox.

More info is needed Paul.

Are you connecting internally/externally to the Server?

Hi all, I am trying to make a connection to an exchange 2000 server but
it gives the error " The name could not be resolved. The name could not
be matched to a name in the address list."

Anyone with an Idea?

Paul.
