Why not just add the distribution list to the BCC Field?

You cannot change the distribution list behaviour.
The closest way I can think of is to create a public folder instead,
then configure forwarding on the public folder to send to the list. Hide
the list and rename it, give the public folder the same name as the list
originally had. The users will never know the difference.

I am trying to create some distribution lists in Outlook 2003 client. I
want the "TO..." line to read "name of distribution list" rather than
listing all of the members of the list. I can get the TO... field to
read this way but there is always a plus sign next to it that allows any
recipient to expand it and view all of the recipients. Question is, how
can I send without the recipient having the ability to view all of the
list members?
