Have a look at this article on address book views

I think it will allow you to do what you want.

Thanks for the reply james,
I've just the name and e-mail addresses columns
of all the employees of other company in an excel sheet, total is 25. I'd
created a new receipients container with the new company name and manually
added all the addresses as custom receipients.

what I want now is, when I click on the address book in Oulook, it is
showing all the C.R in the GAL. Can I get the new company addreses are
listed in a seperate container in the address book with that company name,
so that my users can easily search for the addresses by going to the
container.

Thanks

Gopi

You could get the other company to export their directory to a csv file.
Then open the file up in excel remove any entries you don't want e.g custom
recipients and distribution lists. You should then be left with only mailbox
objects. Change the mailbox objects to custom recipients( Obj-Class to
Remote). You will probably need to remove the contents of the home-server
column as well. Then import the csv file into your exchange server. Its messy
but will work as long as both organisations have separate smtp domain names.
If their address list changes or a regular basis you may find it easier to
create a macro to make the changes to the file.

You may also want to play with header.exe to bring other information over
from their directory like address, phone number etc.

Hello,
I'm using Exchange 5.5 with SP4.0 on NT server 4.0 with SP6.0. Our
company had aquired another company, now I've to add the adress book of the
other company in my exchange server. Our offices are not interconnected as
of now. The requirement is , the new company addresses should be displayed
in the saperate container so that there won't b any confusion in selecting
the address from the adress book.

Could somebody help me out how to go about this?

Thanks in advance

Gopi
