You could get the other company to export their directory to a csv file. Then open the file up in excel remove any entries you don't want e.g custom recipients and distribution lists. You should then be left with only mailbox objects. Change the mailbox objects to custom recipients( Obj-Class to Remote). You will probably need to remove the contents of the home-server column as well. Then import the csv file into your exchange server. Its messy but will work as long as both organisations have separate smtp domain names. If their address list changes or a regular basis you may find it easier to create a macro to make the changes to the file. You may also want to play with header.exe to bring other information over from their directory like address, phone number etc. James -----Original Message----- From: Gopi Krishna N [mailto:Gopi.Krishna@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 21 August 2002 09:47 To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] FW: Address book container http://www.MSExchange.org/ Am still waiting for the solution, could somebody help me plzzzzzzzzzzzz Gopi Krishna N Phone: +91-80-5583025 Extn : 8254 Fax : +91-80-5581425 Mailto:Gopi.Krishna@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ---------------------------------------------------- Symphony Services www.symphserv.com -----Original Message----- From: Gopi Krishna N [mailto:Gopi.Krishna@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, August 20, 2002 11:05 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Address book container http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hello, I'm using Exchange 5.5 with SP4.0 on NT server 4.0 with SP6.0.
