Are those hosts visible to the Internet? I've seen that behavior when
spammer's have contacted my secondary and tertiary MX hosts directly...

That's the only thing that pops to my mind.

Subject: External Domains showing on internal Bridgehead

I have a connector setup with two Exchange Bridgeheads going to two
smarthosts (Mailsweeper SMTP Gateway) Sometimes in the queues of the
bridgehead I see remote domains such as hotmail. Not many though maybe
around 4-5 external domains. My question is how and why are they showing
up since these are not supposed to be directly establishing SMTP
sessions with remote domains but sending to the smarthosts? Thanks
