Hi Shawn,

I saw that in the Microsoft doc as well , however some time ago on another list
some one mentioned that there was a work around. Let me see if I can find it.
Have you tried just moving the pagefile to another partition to free up space
first? I am assuming that this is an Exchange installation and the defaults
were picked on the installation. If so why don't you just move the transaction
logs and database files to another partition.

Jose :-)

Jose,

This utility will not work on system or boot volumes. It would be nice
if this tool will extend system or boot volumes.

Thanks,
Shawn.

Hi Shawn,

Well not exactly, Microsoft does have a command line tool that expands
basic and dynamic disks called diskpart, however I have never used it.

Can you please let me know, if it works for you ?

Jose

Thanks for the feedbacks...guess nothing native will work. I know using
Veritas BMR may work without any residual additional software, but I
doubt my friend wants to pay hundreds of dollar just to test something
out.

Shawn.

1. Why?
2. Do you want to take that risk?
3. Not natively.
4. Not sure if Partition Magic supports server OS. They did not 2 years
ago.

Not quite an Exchange question, but is it possible to expand the C
partition on a Windows 2003 Server machine? I friend of mine is
curious..and it's been awhile for me so I don't want to tell him an
incorrect answer. Any clues will be greatly appreciated.
