Stumped I am young Jedi :-)

The only way I can think of doing this would be to have a script that writes
the date into the ini file for you, the script could then execute Exmerge in
batch mode and then rename the file.

I am not a script expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I am sure
someone here will be able to script it for you.

Sorry I could not be more help, and I am still trying to get a gig in
Southern CA :-)

Subject: [exchangelist] Exmerge and variables

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Is it possible to use variables in exmerge batch mode?

Example. I want to be able to create a batch file that will run exmerge at
12:05 AM daily to extract the previous days messages from the archive mail
box. The batch file would then rename the resulting archive.pst to
archive_MMDDYY.pst.

I know I can specify the date range in the appropriate ini file, but how do
you configure it for a variable like yesterday's date?
