RE: [ExchangeList] Exchange 2000 or 2003 behind Sonicwall

Just for kicks, try creating an all between the IP of Exchange in the DMZ
and the IP on the internal Exchange.

Yes as far as having the correct ports open, I have done so per Microsoft's
white papers

Have you created the correct policies between the DMZ and the LAN?

Does it never work or sometimes work?

Are you logging to a syslog?

Is the Sonicwall DMZ in standard mode or NAT'd? What firmware?

Does anyone use Exchange 2000 or 2003 in a DMZ behind a Sonicwall Pro 300?

I'm wondering, because I get the same Internal Server Error 500 on my new
front end/back end e2003 boxes as I did with 2000. I am getting suspicious
of the firewall with regards to http packets. I have been troubleshooting
this for a long time, and it happens a lot less on my new 2003
implementation.
