        YOu can check some things:

If the tape backup is not in the same server that Exchange Server
belong, you will have a delay.

Also, if the database is too big and defragmented.

Try to check the media tape, because it can be slower than other you
have used before.

        Regards

Subject: [exchangelist] Exchange brick level backup

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hi All -

I'm running into issues with my brick level backup. About a month or so ago

it was taking about an hour and twenty minutes to backup my Exchange server
and now it's taking about 5 hours and thirty three minutes. Has anyone
heard of this??

TIA
D
