RE: Exchange Server 2003 ------Outbox on Clients ??? Slow to empty

It uses RPC. But the if the outbox isn't emptying, there may be a
problem with exchage's SMTP server, that is being too slow to send it
outbound. Is your exchange server sending mail thru a smart host or it
sends directly to the recipient?

The users began noticing the outbox not emptying. We
stoppped the
AV software on the client and server, it didn't
resolve the issue.

How does the Exchange server communicate with the
Windows (2000/XP) client?
