I think you might be missing the important bit - SBS - it can only legally be
installed on 1 box and comes with AD, ISA, Exchange and other goodies all in
one happy little package!

It is still possible, but as I said earlier - not recommended or supported (I
think)!

...Spence

Mohammed,

Problem number 1.. Exchange should never be installed on the DC, it should only
be installed on a standalone server which is joined to the DC like you join
your workstations to the DC, which means you never run DCPROMO. The Exchange
analyzer will give you some more hints why you never install Exchange on a DC.

Problem number 2.. You NEVER install ISA SERVER on your DC, or EXCHANGE SERVER
box. With ISA 2004 installed I know that ISA blocks off all sharing traffic
from the rest of the network. Thus you can't setup user share points etc, and
would you want some user to have access to your firewall network in the
company?

Regards,

Andrew
