Also, you might want to check with your ISP that incoming SMTP packets are
allowed to pass through, and if not, ask them to allow it on your IP.

In my area, most ISPs block inbound SMTP on ADSL/Cable connections due to
the number of open-relays users unwillingly create.

Clears my throat...

Can anyone explain why I'm not receiving any external email on my newly
installed EX2K box at home? I can send and receive mail internally with no
problem, and I can also send to my seperate ISP email account with no
problem. I'm just not able to receive anything externally. I have a DSL
connection with a Linksys Router. I've opened port 25 (SMTP) and 110, not
that I needed to. I'm guessing there's a step I'm missing.

Any help is appreciated.
