My recipient update service was pointed to the old server so it's fixed
now. Thanks for your help Mark.

Hi James

 

When you look at the users properties in ADUC, do you see email
addresses listed on the email address tab, if you don't then I would
make sure your Recipient Update Service is point to valid servers, and
you could also force it to do a rebuild.
