Exchange 2003 not sending to HOTMAIL?

I can't send to HOTMAIL.com...
I just migrated from e2k to e2003
front end/back end configuration
messages were just piling up in the queue.. I think I can send to all
other domains no problem. I'm not sure why, but to try to fix it I created
an SMTP connector. Did I need to do this? I don't see any hotmail messages
in the queue, but also didn't receive the test to my hotmail account
please help
