Did you have this problem even with SSL disabled?  I have disabled it
just for testing purposes but still get the same error.  This is a phone
that was previously working fine on wm5 but it stopped working when we
upgraded to SP2.

Hi Andy,

We just implemented a fresh Exchange 2003 w/sp2 server.  One of the
"odd"
things a client couldn't do was use ActiveSync from a new sprint phone
with WM5.  I'm not sure this is the case or not but the problem we ran
into the person didn't have the 'root cert' on the device.  Once we
imported that everything worked like a charm on the device.

Recently we upgraded our exchange server to sp2.  Upon completion of the
upgrade to sp2 we can no longer activesync our windows mobile 5 devices.
We an error that Synchronization could not be completed Support Code
0x80830003.  We have a front end server and a back end server and both
have been upgraded to sp2.  That's all that's been done to the servers
and now we get this error.  Does anyone have any ideas?  Thanks,
