This happened to me this week. symantec was hanging the threads. Microsoft had
to run debugging to tell me this and eventually I had to disable symantec and
reboot to clear the threads.

Background info: Current SPs everywhere. Mail server is about a month
old has Symantec Mail Security installed locally. OS/boot drive has 50gb
free. Exchange drive has 106gb free. P4 1.8 box has 1gb memory with
about %10 in use. I'm using reverse DNS lookup.

In the last few hours inetInfo.exe has gone %100 and the server is not
sending or receiving. 58 messages "Awaiting diretory lookup". Logs
appear clean. Any ideas?
