Subject: [exchangelist] Exchange 2000 Error

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hi;
AM working with an Exchange 2000 install SP3 all latest hotfixes etc. The
Application event log has numerous Event ID 9543 relating to MSExchangeIS.
The message is similar to:

Unable to create Public Folder proxy object for folder "<folder name>" in
the Active Directory. For more information, click
http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp.

When I check ADUC there are no objects except the default disabled account
in "Microsoft Exchange Active DIrectory Objects."

Interestingly, the users have no problems and all seems to work as needed.

I've tried the following with no luck:
1. Run setup w/ /domainprep switch
2. Run setup w/ /reinstall switch and reapply SP.
3. Made sure the System attendant was running under local account (it
was).

Any ideas on resolving this?

Thanks.

Lee Swanson
