Do you have an SMTP Connector by any chance?

Here is an article that might help you check a few things out:

Subject: [exchangelist] Excahgne 2000 acting as a relay but it's not
supose to....

I have the accept only from the listed servers with my remote exchange
server listed, this seems not to work as I am still being used as a
relay. I have one exchange 2000 sp2 server on a 10.0.0.X network, one
Exchange server 2000 sp2 server on the 10.0.1.x network, ISA 2000 server
has a SMTP service published to the 10.0.0.x server. The server at
10.0.1.x has an x400 connector to the 10.0.0.x server. The SMTP virtual
server. I have MANY years of experience with exchange but I have always
used a smart host (a Linux box running sendmail) for my front end. Any
enlightening words would very much appreciated.
