It does. It was working before, but now it is not. What had happened is
that I did not know what this second mx record was developed for, now I
do. So I have asked my isp to add it back. The mx record was
mail2.cityharvest.org which points to our internal exchange server. we
use this mx record to allow the webserver to send an email from our asp
email application to us internally.

If it's a web server, is it behind a firewall? If so, is it allowed to
talk to mail.cityharvest.org ? Many firewalls won't allow this type of
conversation from inside interface to outside interface by default.

If you telnet to its FQDN from the Exchange server on port 25 what

of how to resolve? running W2k, IIS, exchange 2000 & aspemail.

Message delivery to the remote domain 'abccompany.com' failed for the
following reason: The remote server did not respond to a connection
attempt.
