[ExchangeList] Re: Errors in Global Catalog Server

Hi Mark,

 

There is only NIC card in the machine and this machine is Global Catalog
Server.

I am able to access the shared on the machine itself but I am not able to
access \\pdc1.login.com\.............\gpt.ini
<file:///\\pdc1.login.com\.............\gpt.ini>  file from network.

 

Please help.

How many NICS does the machine have that is generating the events?

Are you able to acces the share with Explorer? Can you open the file
\\pdc1.login.com\.............\gpt.ini
<file:///\\pdc1.login.com\.............\gpt.ini>  ? From the machine
generating the errors? From the other machine?

Yes the remote registry is turned on. 

We have one global catalog server and one additional domain controller, but
ADC is switched on once in a week.

Do I need to turn off remote registry service?

Hi,

 

I have Windows 2003 Server which is a Domain Controller and Exchange 2003
which is also having windows 2003 Standard edition.

I am getting error messages on the Global catalog server daily and they are
getting repeated after every 10 or 15 min.

 

Snapshots of the error messages are attached.

Please help to solve the problem.
