Encountered this before in Ex5.5 when different machines
have different SP level two yrs ago. One co-worker updated one machine
from SP2 to SP3 without informing us. I do a few thing,
shutdown and remove the offending server from the site in
the Administrator program, and go to admin raw mode to
modify the file version as in this technet article.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;158336

This step is risky for this case because of SP4. Read somewhere
SP4 is non-reversible. You can't backout from SP4. Ask an
expert on another list before abt SP4, he informed me there are some
schema change to prepare for migration to active directory and
Ex2k. So have to be very careful on this. Personally I will advise
against the step in the article.

I think you need same SP on both the servers.

Try it.

Hi All need your help,

I have a problem when I try to create new email account "An error
occured
while processing an e-mail address" with MS EXchange ID no: c1030b35.
When I
check on the event viewer the source related with MSExchangeSA that
unable
to locate a correct version on any server in the site.

This problem occured two days after I install new exchange server (Join
with
current server) with service pack4 and my current Exchange server still
used
service pack3, and now I shut off the new server but the error still
occured. Any one can help me how to solve the problem so I can create
new
email account ?

Regards
Ivan Dwi
