I am using VMware environment here and we always use basic disk. It gives you great I/O performance .Its complete SAN environment and believe me performance is terrific compared to dynamic disk.

Subject: [ExchangeList] Dynamic disks

If you are deploying Exchange on a SAN(Clariion), does it matter if you use Basic or Dynamic disks?
Is one better than the other?

If so, why?

I can't seem to find any info on using dynamic disks with Exchange(except that it won't work for the shared storage on a cluster).
Any info would be great.

Thanks alot
