Duplicate Ambigous Mailbox

I think some replication problems have led to a duplicate mailbox in system 
manager.
In the event log I get a message Ambiguous Mailbox Guid.
This is a big problem because I can delete and recreat the user, and I see it 
effects one of the duplicates but the other allways stays in system manager. 
While it is there, even if I recreate the users the mailbox is effectivly 
blocked. Can this duplicated orphaned mailbox be deleted in ADSI edit for 
instance
