Also check the mailroot directory and delete any unwanted messages in
case the machine has been used as an open relay (which tends to fill up
drive space as well).

Try to perform a full Exchange backup using the native ntbackup
that comes with Win 2k.

M: is a virtual drive, so ignore it. Better still,
search the MSKB for the script that removes the M: mapping.

I have a new customer running Win2K server and Exchange
2000 ( only 1
server in the company). Their C drive is out of space
hence the
Exchange IFS Drive M is also out of space. I have moved
the Exchange
database locations, created a new storage group on a new
drive and moved
several users with the largest mailboxes to the new
Storage Group. Can I move
the physical location of Drive M?

However, drive M is still out of space as well as drive
C.

                Any suggestions?

                Thanks in advance,
                Tyler Bowen
