I have a customer who wants to change the domain name in their Email system from abc.com to xxx.com due to the name change of the company. They have a very large Exchange 5.5/Windows NT4 implementation. I know that a new DNS infrastructure can be built to support XXX.COM. But I don't know if it is possible to simply replace the domain name in the Exchange system without rebuilding the entire Windows NT/Exchange system?? If it is possible, what steps that we need to go though? Thanks. -LiMing ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------
